Recreational Youth Soccer

South Lakes Soccer Club provides a United States Youth Soccer Club affiliated youth recreational soccer program for youth from age 4 to 17.

Scores at South Lakes Soccer Club

Scores are not posted for u5 and u6 age groups. Scores are recorded by the referees and these are used to help with bracketing of teams for the following seasons.

Scores are posted in all age groups, u7 and above. However the referees have been instructed to not record scores of greater than a 10 point goal differential. Scores will not be posted on the website at more than a 6 point differential on the website.

We encourage each coach to manage their game to make it as competitive as possible. Remember a game which is won or lost by 10 or 20 goals is not beneficial or fun for either team. Here are some tips on how to manage your game when your team is ahead by a lot of goals. Or rather than waiting to 6-0, start managing the runaway game when it gets to a 4-point differential.

•Encourage passing and possession by your players.

Here is a document of FAQ's for the new SLSC player.

If your recreational team is planning on attending a tournament, here is a list of required documents you must have for team check-in. Always remember to check the tournaments rules for any differences. Please give yourself time to collect these documents, it is not always possible for the club volunteers to get these to you at the last minute.

These documents should be in your coach's folder. (Fall-every player, Spring-new players)

*Pink or white copy of each child's registration form with a signed medical release.
*Stamped official roster. It is your responsibility to ensure the roster is complete and accurate.

Most recreational teams do not allow guest players, please check the tournament rules. If guest players are allowed, please go to www.oksoccer.com and click on the tournament tab to get more information on the documents you will need.
